Google Index Checker
The Google Index Checker is a free tool that verifies whether specific URLs are currently indexed by Google. A page must be indexed to appear in Google search results — if your pages aren't indexed, they won't receive organic traffic regardless of how well they are optimized.
This tool performs a site: search query check for each URL you enter and returns a clear indexed or not indexed status. You can check single pages or bulk-check a list of URLs simultaneously.
How to Check Google Indexing
- Enter one or more URLs (one per line for bulk checking)
- Click Check Index Status
- Each URL is marked as Indexed or Not Indexed
Common Reasons a Page Is Not Indexed
- The page is blocked by robots.txt or a noindex meta tag
- The page is too new and hasn't been crawled yet
- Low-quality or thin content that Google chose not to index
- The page has no internal or external links pointing to it
- Canonical tag issues pointing to a different URL
What to Do for Non-Indexed Pages
- Submit the URL directly in Google Search Console
- Check robots.txt with our Spider Simulator tool
- Ensure the page has unique, valuable content
- Add internal links from other indexed pages to the problematic page
Free, no login, instant index status check.
