Wordpress Theme Detector
Processing...
The WordPress Theme Detector is a free online tool that identifies the WordPress theme and active plugins used by any WordPress website. If you see a design you love on a WordPress site, this tool reveals the theme name so you can find and use it yourself — saving hours of searching through theme directories.
Understanding a competitor's technical setup can also inform your own platform choices. Many successful sites use specific premium themes optimized for speed, conversions or specific industries.
How to Detect a WordPress Theme
- Enter the URL of the WordPress website you want to investigate
- Click Detect Theme
- View the active theme name, author, version and a link to find or purchase it
- Also see detected active plugins where identifiable from public assets
Information Detected
- Theme name — e.g. Divi, Astra, GeneratePress, Kadence
- Theme author — developer or company that made the theme
- Theme version — current installed version
- Theme URI — link to the theme's official page
- Active plugins — publicly identifiable plugins from stylesheet/script names
Limitations
Custom themes, heavily modified themes and sites that obscure theme paths may not be detectable. The tool reads publicly accessible CSS and HTML — no hacking or unauthorized access is involved. Free, no login required.
